Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using danburyandlovejoy.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About this site

Danbury & Lovejoy is a UK-based consumer lifestyle website publishing buying guides, product reviews, and household tips. It also sells digital downloads through its shop.

The Site is owned and operated by Gareth Isherwood, trading as Danbury & Lovejoy, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom.

Our postal address is:

Gareth Isherwood, trading as Danbury & Lovejoy
Flat B, 4 The Boundary
Seaford
East Sussex BN25 1DG
United Kingdom

We can be contacted at [email protected], which is also the address for any complaint about an order. We are not VAT-registered and have no company registration number, as we trade as a sole trader rather than a limited company.

2. Information only — not professional advice

The content published on this Site is provided for general information and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to financial advice, legal advice, medical advice, or investment advice.

While we make every effort to ensure the information on this Site is accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information, products, or services mentioned. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

Product specifications, prices, and availability change frequently. Always verify current details directly with the retailer or manufacturer before making a purchase decision.

3. Affiliate links & commercial relationships

Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Our editorial recommendations are made independently; affiliate relationships do not influence which products we recommend or how we rank them. For full details, please read our Affiliate Disclosure.

4. Buying from our shop

Our shop sells digital downloads only — printable planners, almanacs and guides supplied as PDF files. Nothing is shipped physically.

Your order. Adding an item to your basket is not an offer we are bound by. A contract is formed only when we send your order confirmation and make the download available. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item was listed at an obviously incorrect price — we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices. All prices are in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and no VAT invoice can be issued.

Delivery. Downloads are made available immediately after payment, by a link in your confirmation email and in your account. Please check your spam folder before contacting us.

Cancelling. You normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. At checkout you are asked to confirm that you want your download straight away and that you accept you lose that right once the download begins. If you have not yet received your download, the 14-day right still applies. Full detail, including your rights if a file is faulty, is in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Quality. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms limits that.

Licence. Downloads are licensed for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print as many copies as you wish for yourself and your household. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish the files.

5. Advertising on this site

This Site does not currently carry third-party display advertising. It carried advertising managed by Journey by Mediavine from August 2026 until 10 October 2026. If we carry advertising again, we will update these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy before it appears.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Danbury & Lovejoy excludes all liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content. This includes, without limitation:

  • Direct, indirect, or consequential loss
  • Loss of income or profits
  • Loss arising from purchasing decisions made based on content published on this Site
  • Any inaccuracy or out-of-date information

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

The exclusions above apply to your use of the Site’s editorial content. They do not apply to anything you buy from our shop: your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are unaffected by these terms.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, images, graphics, and logos — is the intellectual property of Danbury & Lovejoy or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this Site without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use with appropriate attribution.

8. Third-party links

This Site contains links to third-party websites, including retailers and product pages. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Linking to a third-party site does not imply endorsement. We accept no responsibility for the content of external sites.

9. Privacy & cookies

Your use of this Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
